Why does News UK have copy/booking deadlines?Although News UK has invested in state of the art printing facilities, the content of each day's newspaper or magazine requires considerable planning and co-ordination with deadlines at each stage to ensure their timely delivery to readers each day.  Advertisements booked or delivered late may miss the deadline for inclusion in a publication.

Why does News UK have cancellation charges?Advertisements cancelled close to the publication date may be removed from the publication, however, the space allocated may subsequently have to be filled at a cost to News UK.
